Shipping policy

We want your Edge & Oak order to reach you safely and with no surprises. Here's exactly how our shipping works.

4.1 Where we ship

We currently ship within South Africa only, using Aramex Store-to-Door services.

4.2 Handling & dispatch time

Many of our products are finished to order (including logo engraving), so we allow a little time to prepare your order with care. We aim to dispatch within 3 business days of your order being placed and payment clearing.

4.3 Delivery timeframe — please read

Once dispatched, Aramex typically delivers within a few business days. However, please allow up to 2–3 weeks (approximately 2.5 weeks) for your order to arrive. We advertise this buffer deliberately and honestly: it protects both of us if anything unexpected happens — courier delays, load-shedding disruptions, high-volume periods, or a hiccup in our engraving/finishing process. In most cases you'll receive your order well before then, but building in this window means we can always keep our promise to you.

4.4 Shipping costs

• Free shipping on all orders over R700.
• A flat rate of R100 on orders under R700.

Your shipping cost is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

4.5 Order tracking

Once your order is dispatched, we'll send you a tracking link by email so you can follow it to your door. If you haven't received tracking within our handling window, email us at edgeandoak@gmail.com.

4.6 Incorrect addresses & failed deliveries

Please double-check your delivery address at checkout. We can't be held responsible for orders delayed or lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address. If a parcel is returned to us because it couldn't be delivered, we'll contact you to arrange re-delivery, which may carry an additional shipping charge.

4.7 Damaged in transit

If your order arrives damaged, please email edgeandoak@gmail.com within 7 days with a photo, and we'll make it right under our Refund & Return Policy.

4.8 Our guarantee still applies

Remember, every order is backed by our 30-day money-back guarantee — if the sharpener doesn't deliver effortless, razor-sharp results on your knives, we'll refund your purchase price within 30 days of delivery. Full details are in our Refund & Return Policy.
